This past Saturday in East Carondelet, wrestling powerhouse Kevin X  destroyed Chase King during a memorable night of action. After the match MMWA-SICW promoter Herb Simmons announced to the crowd that Kevin X would soon be leaving for Afghanistan with the US Army.

The crowd gave him a standing ovation, with one fan yelling “We love to hate you” to the fearsome rule breaker. Kevin X’s reply was ” I love for you to hate me”.

Kevin X has been gaining momentum lately throughout the Midwest at MMWA-SICW, NWA Dynamo and Metro Pro Wrestling in matches with Brian Breaker, Pete Madden and was involved in a great 6 man match featuring former NWA World Champion Dory Funk Jr.

From everyone here at MWR we would like to wish Kevin X the best and give a sincere thank you to him for his 12 years of service.

It is with great men and women such as Kevin X that allows us to enjoy the freedom we have in the greatest country of them all.

We can’t wait till your return.

Give them Hell Kevin.

I leave you with the entrance music that Kevin X comes out too.

The exciting Knights of Fire featured Jaysin Strife and Vic Victory, two fan favorites who put their bodies on the line for the fans and their never die attitude kept them in every match.. This duo quickly ended the reign of Simply the Best (Hype Gotti and Tony Cortez) to become the PWP Tag team Champions.

The Knights of Fire would get a top notch victory when they retained the titles from F1RST Family (Arik Cannon and Ryan Cruz) then back that up the next month retaining the titles against “The Passion” Zac James & Preston Maxwell, Jimmy Rockwell & Ricky Kwong, and Brett Young & Mark Sterling in a 4-Way Elimination Match.

The Supergroup known as Murder Miltia would soon come to dominance at this time thus spelling the end of their title reign.

A fan requested that a video or match be added of the teams if I should find one so here you go a music video of PWP’S Year Of The Phoenix IV that included some highlights on the Knights of Fire.
