With Loving memory of Paul Steven Kelley (1954-2011)

Truthfully my father was not really a fan of wrestling, he never watched it if I wasn’t there though he would call me on the phone if he saw a wrestler he knew on a show that they normally wasn’t on. A few times he would ride with to shows to provide me company for the normally 6 hour round trip. This picture here is one that I really enjoyed as dad rode with me and my nephew Marc to Lincoln Illinois for the PWE Balloon Festival show. After the show was over, I got some promos from some of the guys. Before we left I had a few wrestlers pose with the two of them. This one here is of a friend of mine the Mississippi Madman who was really great to dad as he had always been to every fan I ever saw him with. When we got out to the car, dad had an autograph MWR card of the Future Donovan Ruddick and I laughed and asked why he bought one when I have some I could of just had given him one if he wanted in the car that he didn’t have to buy it . He just smiled and said he knew but he wanted to support what I was doing with the wrestlers. For 37 years dad was there for me, my sister, mom, family and friends. We love you dad!

Last Wednesday night, I went to check on my father Paul Steven Kelley at his home. When I entered his home I was shocked and sadden to see that at the young age of 57 that he had passed away.

My sister Dominique and I were blessed to not only have an awesome father but a great grandfather and a true friend.

Words cannot express what dad meant in our world so I won’t even try.

Thankfully, we have such a great group of family and friends in our time of sorrow. Dad would have been proud of the support that they have helped comfort us. We had many friends that we hoped would be there and they didn’t disappoint, we also had many that we didn’t know cared as much for Dad and us and I hope that they know how much that truly meant to us.

God Bless each and everyone of you.

I always joked that wrestling was the first love of my life when in actuality there is nothing more important that family.

I cried for 5 days that my father will never get to see the little things in my life like the fun I had in the video of myself representing ECW Press on ST Louis TV for Larry Matysik’s book and the after math that ensued or that he didn’t get to see the big moments to come when my son Josh will have his first child.

Yet, I am thankful for the 37 years that he was a part of our lives.

Dad was a fun loving, good hearted guy who would give you his last dollar. He may of not been perfect but he was perfect for us.

For my friends in the world of wrestling if I have not taken your phone call, respond to your e-mail or work on a post for your upcoming show, I know that you understand that the pain in my heart has been very heavy. With over 1,700 post over 4 years here at MWR supporting many others that I care, this one is for my family.

I hope to have some desire to be  back  at MWR by the end of the week .

Till then take care of yourself, your family and love one another.

Mizfitt Manners born in Los Angeles CA. orphaned as a young child and raised by the unforgiving streets of L.A.

Mizfitt would learn quickly how to hold his own, as a angry young man Mizfitt would find a sense of home through pro wrestling. One day early on in his career, Mizfitt would recieve a mysterious letter to travel to Chicago Il.

Where he’d find life gets even rougher, on the edge of complete breakdown looking over a bridge ready to “end it all” a woman named Myranda would stop him and introduce him to a goverment experiment, that many were after, “Agent Red” aka street name “Mizfitt Madness” with each exposure to the substance Mizfitt would gain emence strength, energy, rapid hair growth of what is known as a party hawk, his upper half of his facial skin began changing in color with pattern, ramblings of space, time and other strange things became frequent.

Mizfitt Manners would use these “side effects” to win multiple championships and become a unique professional wrestler that can be seen throughout the midwest.
