I lived in Pennsylvania as a child and i use to listen to Pro Wrestling on the radio from station KMOX in St. Louis. It was broadcast from the Kiel Auditorium.

Pete is an incredible worker both in the ring but also in his perspectives on the business and the effects his teachings have had on other wrestlers. He’s a tribute to the craft always looking to elevate every other worker around him and willing to break his ass to make sure that each show is a serious spectacle and not just another boring pose-down between fat rednecks. Madden rules.

Great article and thank you very much for the mention……I have loved this site and what you all do since the very start of it!….I am one of your biggest supporters and a fan of all the work you and the rest of the MWR crew has done over the years….In the wrestling business you don’t make to many friends and it is my honor to call Dubray and yourself Brian friends. I have known Pete Madden for many years I have worked a few shows with him over the years and is without a doubt in my top 5 of guys I’ve never wrestled that I would love to have a match with before I decide to hang it up and when I do I can hope MWR would be there to cover it. Keep up the great work and you will always have my support

Pete is one of the finest people I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing in the business. Full stop. He is a rare gem in the wrestling world- he’s more concerned with making you look good than making himself look good. He truly gets it. The greatest crime in the world is that Pete Madden is not known even further. He should be a house hold name, spoken of in the same breath as Rhodes, Race and Funk. He is truly one of the most talented workers that has ever graced the squared circle. And I’m so honored that I’ve gotten to work with him as much as I have. He is a gift. -Girthy

Brian I hope you post another 3000 plus articles. And I wish day after day that our friend Pete lived here. Can you think about how a worker like him could be so much help to some of these guys. He was one of the best and its still my honor to say he worked for me, and that he gives me the honor of allowing me to call him my friend. The same for you. You have went well out of your way to help me. When you and Dubray appear at our shows the energy is felt by the fans. Your friendship means a lot to me. please continue doing what you do best.
