AAPW Heavyweight Champion
Shawn Shultz

1) Edmund “Livewire” McGuire – McGuire wrestled 3 matches in a tournament in West Frankfort, IL. on Saturday October 24th. He defeated Carnage, “Playboy” Paul Rose, and Mike Masters to win the #1 contender spot and a shot at Shultz’s title on December 5th in West Frankfort, IL.
2) Mike Masters – Masters defeated Chocolate Thunder quickly in his first round match, then got a win over Curly in the 2nd round. Masters lost to McGuire in the finals although he had a very impressive showing.
3) Mississippi Madman – Madman is undefeated in singles action in AAPW and has rarely lost in tag team competition. Currently is 1/2 of the AAPW tag team champions.
4) “Da Bomb” Brian James – James is undefeated in singles competition in AAPW and has only 1 loss on his record in a tag team contest with “Thee” Brandon Espinosa V. Carnage and Crimson Shock.
5) Curly – Curly has been on a roll since arriving in AAPW. On October 3rd, he held his own against AAPW champion, Shawn Shultz, in a heartbreaking defeat. Curly faired well in the #1 contender tournament defeating Christian Rose in the first round before suffering a defeat against Mike Masters in the 2nd round.
6) “Playboy” Paul Rose – Rose stunned the AAPW fans by eliminating former AAPW champion “Serial Thriller” Shane Rich in the first round of the #1 contender tournament. He appeared to be on his way to the finals as he had Edmund McGuire injured in the 2nd round. But “Livewire” was able to secure a victory over Rose.
7) “Serial Thriller” Shane Rich – Rich has been in a bit of a slump since losing his title, yet still shows he is a top contender.
8) Carnage – He has picked up some impressive wins as of late but stumbled in the #1 contenders tournament.
9) “The Main Attraction” K.C. Jackson – 1/2 of the AAPW tag team champions, Jackson looks impressive if he decides to return to singles action.
10) Christian Rose – The newly crowned IWAP heavyweight champion entered the AAPW tournament in hopes of getting a shot at yet another championship. Although his ringwork is impressive, the young champion showed he can be easily distracted.
