Missouri Wrestling Revival is excited to announce one of the youngest and toughest wrestlers in the sport today as part of our MWR Trading set, “Unbreakable” Michael Elgin.

Canada has a long history of producing some of the top wrestlers in the world, and soon you will be adding the name Elgin to that list.

Many fans have fallen in love with the man many call the “Canadian Crazy Horse”, with a body that resembles the “Incredible Hulk” he is able to absorb punishment and deliver it tenfold.

Elgin may appear to be just another muscle head his opponents have learned the hard way that he delivers explosive moves with a true scientific wrestling background in the ring. Elgin started his training at the young age of 14, and has made his way to the Midwest on multiple occasions to improve that much better at Harley Race’s World League Wrestling’s annual week long camp that includes instructors from both WWE and Japan’s Pro Wrestling Noah.

Today he is a key member of Truth Martini’s House of Truth with former Ring of Honor World Champion Roderick Strong. Matches in 2011, saw him back down from no one as he went to war with the likes of Kyle O’Reilly, Chris Hero, El Generico, and Eddie Edwards.

Elgin made the House of Truth proud on November 18, 2011 during the Ring of Honor’s Survival of the Fittest tournament in a six man elimination match pitting Jay Briscoe vs. Eddie Edwards vs. Mark Briscoe vs. Kyle O’Reilly vs. Roderick Strong.

After former ROH World Champ Eddie Edwards took out the Briscoe’s Brothers, he was able to defeat Strong after some miscommunication from teammates Elgin and Strong. Elgin would get retribution when he delivered a massive clothesline on Edwards.

That left the young Kyle O’Reilly alone with the monster Elgin. O’Reilly would not go down without a fight and was able to go for a number of submissions including a guillotine and an armbar on Elgin looking for the all-important win. In the end, the power of Elgin would be too much for O’Reilly as Elgin delivered sit down powerbomb for his biggest win to date.

With that win he is guaranteed a shot at the ROH World Championship in 2012 thus making quite possibly making 2012 the year of the Unbreakable Michael Elgin.
